A little holiday in a holiday....

G'day mates!!

You know our daughter Sheila had been on holidays here for two weeks and we were offered to go to Dunsborough for a few days in the lovely holiday house of our friends. Of course we took this opportunity and again had a lovely time in Dunsborough with Sheila.

We wanted to walk that Meelup-Dunsborough coastal trail again with her and I hope you don't mind having a blog about this trail again because it's totally different from the one I made a few weeks ago, I promise!!

We walked from the house to the trail which is already a few k's but it's worth it....

A little side track to look on the beach....

some statues on our way.....

you can't eat this crab, unless you want to ruin your teeth.....

Arriving at  the trail we read the code of conduct and......

with our lunch and drinks in the back pack we went off.....

As you can see I'm not the only photographer on the track ........

which means, that I'm also on a picture so now and then....

What a shame there are always people who spoil the environment.....

I can't get enough from scenes like this......

During a little pause, Fred found out he had a splinter (same word as in Dutch haha!) in his finger...

Nurse Sheila tried to get it out.....

OK, back on the track we passed more beautiful scenes....

OMG....

Lonely beaches, very tempting....

We decided to go as far as Castle rock and because we didn't found a convenient spot to have our lunch......

we decided to go back to the lonely beach....

After a lovely lunch we headed back towards home when we saw this beautiful creature....

When I came a little bit too close, he/she choose to take off, leaving us behind....

Totally exhausted from the long hike we came home and had a lovely, satisfying evening, with lots of music and talks.....

(sorry for the not so clear picture but it shows our mood)

Lots more to come so don't leave me!

Cheers!
