Back in Perth with Sheila (4th and last)

G'day Mates,

On Easter day we packed up our things and went back for the last few days to the first Caravan Park we were earlier, in Perth......
5th of April;

and what is Easter without a Champagne Breakfast with a lot of eggs....

After breakfast we decided to go to the beach for the last time, today the weather was promising to be very nice and the forecast for the next few days wasn't too good so this was the best thing to do.......

And we were right, it was a beautiful day.....

Because it was Sheila's wish to once stay on the beach till the sun would sunk into the sea, and this was the best day to do it, we stayed till late and it was really worth it;

Next day we went to Kings Park in which also a botanical garden is hosted.
Kings Park is one of the world’s largest and most beautiful inner city parks. It is rich in Aboriginal and European history,....

The State War Memorial....

you can also enjoy stunning views of the city.....

There are more than 3,000 species of native flora, most of which are found nowhere else on the planet, in the Western Australian Botanic Garden.

The Federation Walkway....

After the beautiful walk in Kings Park "we" (actually Sheila) did some souvenir hunting to take back home....

London Court

Who was dragging the gifts.....

April the 7th;

It was really good we had been to the beach the other day as yesterday in the Kings park is wasn't too good and today, the weather is very bad.

Despite that we went to Mandurah and still had a lovely time, because whatever happens, we are together and enjoying each others company and that is the main thing!

We did a river cruise in Mandurah, it was raining and bloo.... cold!

Movie time;

little houses along the way with some Yachts.....

After this cold experience we treated ourselves on a great fish plate with a nice glass red wine to become a bit warm.....

On the last day, the 8th of April, we went to Joondalup to the biggest shopping centre of Western Australia. Sheila was leaving at night so we still had time to do that.....

you can't go out for lunch every time so we made our own.....

when we came home it was time for Sheila to pack her bags and to take down the tent

because we had a lot of rain the last few days, some stuff came wet out of the tent....

one more meal together, a real Aussie thing; a Pie

and then its off to the Airport......

why does saying goodbye always hurt so much....

through our tears we saw the plane waiting for our girl to be flying home......

As you can see unfortunately (for us) our daughter is back to The Netherlands and her lovely family. They must have missed her heaps as we do now.

Anyway, life goes on and you must be wondering what we are going to do now....
Just keep on looking, its something totally different!

See ya soon!

Cheers....
