Race Horses

G'day Mates,

On the farm are also 3 horses with which David and Lorraine are racing. There are more horses but they are just not race horses or retired.
So these three horses are being spoilt with the hope they once will win some races. In the time we have been there they have been a few times to Adelaide for races but also once on Kangaroo Island.

These horses have to have attention, observation, exercise and training nearly every day and that's a lot of work. Besides that, good food and care is essential.

In this story the main thing is the films. There are a few of them and I think they are funny, interesting and beautiful. So lets enjoy ourselves;

This is Filly, Davids horse;

She looks so nice but she can also be naughty, I found out later from David that the other horse, Wild Stranger, was annoying her.....

There is a loud sound on the background, sorry for that but it's a water pump....

 David walks nearly daily with Filly, just a bit down and up the driveway.....

Filly has a leg problem and David tries to find out what's wrong with her;

We also have a "yes" horse, haha, very funny.....

Lorraine rides her horse Marmalade....

But now David is busy with his horse and Lorraine is riding hers, Wild Stranger feels ignored and is jealous so he decides to have his own little party;

Marmalade is going to run in the Kangaroo Island Races.....

Of course you can also bet......

and so we did.......

Marmalades name is "Alweighs" at the races.....

getting them excited to run.....

The jockey takes his place and the excitement is rising.......

Unfortunately Alweighs ended 4th.....

You might think the Jockeys beat the horses and it hurts but that's not the case, these horses really love to run and race, they can hardly wait to start and are so excited they feel nothing......

David, next time we're going to bet again, if it's Filly, Marmalade or Wild Stranger, I expect some winnings now so do your best haha!
