Hilarious and beautifull stop "Coodlie Park"

G'day Mates,

Sorry for the delay but you knew our daughter was here for holidays and so I didn't had time for my blog. Unfortunately she is back to Holland again but I must say, we have had a great time of which I will tell you of course later ! Little preview? OK;

But......

I now go back to where I ended and that was leaving Port Lincoln. At first we planned to stop in Ceduna which is the last town before the Nullarbor but because it would be too far in one go, we stopped at a place called "Coodlie Park" on their brochure it says; "Surprisingly different" and THAT it was!!  It's a private property on which you can camp and it was really an awesome spot.

But, before I introduce you to the camp itself I first take you to the surrounding which was also awesome. Coodlie Park is situated between Venus Bay and Elliston on the coast of the Southern Ocean.
This coast line is full with pristine beaches, caves, spectacular views etc. etc.

Just enjoy;

This belongs to the Coodlie property and down these rocks is their private beach, too dangerous to go down was our opinion.....

The road to this spot was tough too!!

The Southern Ocean...

The Talia Caves....

Last but not least, movie time;  The Power of the Ocean;

OK Guys, now the camp:

The Camp fireplace

The Camp kitchen.....

The Toilet......

Beware of creepy crawlers....
You had to pump water into the reservoir with that handle you see above the toilet, before you could flush....

and now; The Showers....

If you want to see how it works, just watch the movie;

Fred having a shower, enjoy:

Coodlie park has not only camp ground (which was only $ 10.00) but more accommodation so if you are interested;

Cheers! Till next time!
