I pulled myself together and after staying in bed for while due to a big cold, flu or whatever it was I think, hubby and I are ready again for new adventures.
But for now I still have to finish some Dutch stories so here we are; not a most likely Dutch thing but also a surprise to us; Cacti
We had family, Arnold and Trudy, staying with us for a few days and they had hired a little cottage at a farm close to us. They had invited us for two night for dinner and because the weather was terrible we did some cooking on a electrical plate with all small pieces of vegetables, meet and fish in stead of a barbecue.
The distance was only 3 k's so the first night we decided to go by bike.
We had a great time together and we had a lot of laughs as the men had been colleagues in their younger years and shares much memories.
Arnold likes filming very much and he had been to "Cactus Anny" a few year ago which is a cactus oasis in Ruurlo, a small town about 8 k's from us, unfortunately he had lost the film he had made then and so now he wanted to go there again. We hadn't been there before though we had heard of it, but actually we weren't really interested in Cacti.
Much to our surprise we really liked it and even spent a few hours in the oasis.
There also was a little museum about the life style of farmers back in the olden days.
I'm not that old yet, at least I don't feel old, but even I remembered a few things which had to do with school. Who remembers this??;
Arnold enjoyed his filming and of course I enjoyed taking pictures.
You must wonder why you haven't seen much Cacti yet? Well, of the most beautiful pictures of Cacti I made a little film, so watch and enjoy but be warned; you might like them soo much you want to hug them which is highly uncomfortable and not recommended haha!
Enjoy, Movie time;
See ya !
Cheers!
